7 Year Child Concession

Are you a parent of a child who has lived in the UK for 7 years continuously?

If so you can make an application under the 7 year concession rule.

Immigration rules state that if a child was born in the UK and has been a continuous resident for 7 years they may qualify for leave to remain in the UK (This includes the parents)

Although the initial application will grant you leave for 30 months if you were to be successful, you can then do a further application and extend this by another 30 months. Once you have 10 years continuous residence in the UK you can look to apply for ILR.
